Hello, everyone! The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived: vacation time! I’ll describe how we got to Dubai in my next reviews. Right now, I want to write in detail about the infinity pool, AURA SKYPOOL LOUNGE, with its 360-degree view and stunning views of Palm Jumeirah and the whole of Dubai!
I knew about this pool before leaving for Dubai, we decided to buy tickets at the hotel with the help of our guide. When we asked him about it, there were no tickets left for 31 May, and we tried to book them on 23 May! This place is very popular! A few days later, we checked the tickets again, and they were already sold out until 13 June!
First, we took the metro to Sobha Realty station (formerly Dubai Marina). Then, we took the overpass and followed the signs to the tram stop, where we had to choose the opposite direction to Palm Jumeirah station, remembering to tap our Silver Card on the card readers at the tram stations when entering and exiting the tram. Next, exit the tram and follow the flow of traffic. Take the lift to the overpass above the tram tracks (photo above).
The crossing leads to a multi-level car park. There are signs on the pavement, follow them to the monorail station called Palm Gateway.
At the exit, you will see a beautifully made model of the building with the surrounding area – everything is worked out to the smallest detail! I wouldn’t be surprised if even the palm trees are protected!
Well, we take the same route on the monorail to the tram! From the tram, we change to the metro and go to our station, where it is a 5-minute walk to our hotel!
Interestingly, when I took a photo from our hotel window, I didn’t know that ‘AURA SKYPOOL’ would be on our list of places to visit, which makes this photo even more valuable. (the black tower in the centre of the photo)
Conclusion: AURA SKYPOOL is a must-see! What’s more, for me, it’s in first place as the most beautiful viewpoint in Dubai, and from a swimming pool! The only thing is that children under 18 are not allowed to visit this place! The haze that is almost always present in Dubai may have interfered a little, but in real life it is simply a delightful sight – I recommend it to everyone! Tickets for sun loungers can be purchased online. For the daytime session, it will be 260 dirhams per person for sun loungers. You can visit the pool after lunch, but the price will be higher!
